Well, this was our 3rd Swordfish trip with no hookups to speak of. Fished from 1200 ft out to 1700 ft with no-show of the fish. We picked up some live bait at Pop Warner on the way out and had a nice 2 lb blue runner. We used him for bait and all that caught us was a very large hammerhead shark.
We bottom fished for a little while and caught some nice grouper, trigger, and snapper. Caught them all just inside the ledge in 147 ft.
